About Jarrod Dean

Jarrod began his investment career as an analyst at a multi-family office fund-of-funds before transitioning to fixed income trading, where he built multiple trading operations across product types. In 2011, he co-founded Sierra Pacific Securities, establishing its Corporate bond trading desk and constructing its Municipal bond trading, sales, and underwriting operations from the ground up.

His most consequential contribution was the invention of J-Bot — a fully automated algorithmic pricing and market-making engine capable of processing over 100,000 executable quotes across Municipal and Corporate bonds daily. That proprietary technology propelled Sierra Pacific to the top of the U.S. odd-lot Municipal bond market-making league tables, ultimately attracting the attention of Stifel Financial, which acquired the firm in 2023 with J-Bot and its founding team as the primary acquisition target.

Following the acquisition, Jarrod served as Head of Electronic Trading for Stifel's Fixed Income Capital Markets division before joining a global top-decile hedge fund as Head of Trading. He has navigated every major market dislocation of the modern era — including the Global Financial Crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic — consistently delivering strong risk-adjusted returns across cycles.

At Alpenglow Capital, Jarrod brings that same systematic rigor and cycle-tested judgment to long-duration capital stewardship, with the conviction to back his process completely — committing substantially all of his investable assets alongside the investors he serves. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, the CFA charter, FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 53 licenses, and has pursued advanced study in institutional portfolio management at Harvard and through Capital Allocators University.

About Joseph W. Campbell IV

With more than two decades of enterprise revenue leadership across FinTech, financial data analytics, and capital markets technology, Joseph brings a practitioner's perspective shaped by operating on both sides of the table — as an institutional revenue driver and as a co-founder, having built and successfully exited a technology venture alongside his advisory and investing activity in consumer health and real estate.

Beyond institutional sales, Joseph has operated across the full arc of the capital formation lifecycle — co-founding and advising technology startups through successful exits, making early seed investments in consumer health, and owning real estate across short-term rental and affordable housing markets. This practitioner's breadth, combined with degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Nevada and executive education from Harvard, MIT, Chicago Booth, and Villanova, gives him a multi-disciplinary edge that few allocators possess.

At Alpenglow Capital, Joseph applies that same discipline to long-duration capital stewardship — Helping to build selective, defensive, and opportunistic portfolios designed to compound real purchasing power across public and private markets. Beyond investing, he has raised over $1 million for families affected by childhood cancer and spent eight years coaching athletes as a CrossFit L1 coach — a reflection of his conviction that world-class performance and genuine service are not competing values, but complementary ones.
